In 1946, young Albert Braswell Jr. returned home from World War II with a GI Bill and no job. Using his mother’s recipe, he began cannang and selling pear preserves out of back of his truck. Taste our Pure Pear Preserves and you will understand why it remains one of our most requested products. We use local Kiefer and Orient varieties to give our pear preserves a nice firm texture and a a wonderfully sweet taste.
